RCC offers medical courses, basic too advanced, taught by our medical professionals that cover tactical emergency care, bleeding control, management of chest injuries, airway management, and Medical Bag / IFAK needs.
This course was designed between us and a collection of SoF Medics currently working downrange to better aid in the overall immediate responses to tactical trauma. We will be working from the bag… your bag/ifak, the truck bag, and medical bag. We will go over what you have, how, when, and why you should use it. Knowing what you can do with what you have is key to survival; make good choices.
The first training block is Stop The Bleed, this will be a STB with a little extra thrown in. Topics covered are listed below as well as a few real life considerations regarding STB. We will be working with training aids that allow us to apply tourniquets and pressure dress wounds.
The second training block is Tac-TIR, tactical scenarios with real practical application involving various methodologies. For the second training block you will need to bring your kit/rifle/pistol set ups. 100 rounds for Rifle & Pistol
Bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained with fake blood. While we don’t intend on getting theatrically bloody there is a chance of your clothes being stained.
